Andrew Cash, the firm’s director and license nominee, has owned and operated ACBuilding Contractors and Construction project managers on the Sunshine Coast since the 1990’s. The Cash family has been on the Sunshine Coast since the 1900’s originally from Eumundi with Andrew’s, Grandfather and Father being builders so building is in the blood.
Over the years, ACBuilding has grown through corporate reforms, with the construction business transforming from Annic Consultants to ANNIC Design + Construct in 2010. The business now trades as AC Building Contractors, to focus on industrial, commercial and residential construction but we still focus on design and construct projects.
Early on in the evolution of ACBuilding Contractors, Andrew focused on working contractually for the ‘BIG GUYS’ but it was decided it was time to focus on developing his own identity as a professional consultant and a boutique construction company like his father before him with Cope and Cash Builders. This decision was made easier when his son joined the team as the apprentice. This was an exciting prospect and the ultimate way to retain the family legacy; “just knowing another generation of Cash’s would be involved in the building industry on the Sunshine Coast makes me very happy.”
The directorship, general management and the high level of workmanship has never faltered through his rich 25 year + history. Andrew Cash has established goodwill and is a respected and reputable name within the industry. He is especially known as the ‘troubleshooter’, so you can feel safe knowing he’ll see a problem long before there is one. We are a family and engage a family ethos to all our projects and have a hands-on approach to “get it right the first time” so we stand by our work!
